John Hyams is the director of the 2020 psychological thriller movie Alone. The story of Jessica (Jules Willcox), a lady trying to flee her troublesome past by relocating from New York City to a small village in Oregon, is the subject of the film. She encounters a mystery man (Marc Menchaca) on her travels, though, who starts to stalk and terrorise her.Jessica packs up her possessions and departs from her life in New York City at the start of the film. She wants to begin a new life but is still in mourning over the deaths of her husband and kid. She is being followed persistently while driving by an unknown man in a pickup truck.Jessica eventually succeeds in getting away from the man and arrives in a wilderness location where she chooses to set up tent for the night. But ultimately, the man discovers her and enters her camp, saying that he had been stalking her for days. In order to convince Jessica to accompany him, he presents himself as "The Man" and makes his introduction.
 
The Man keeps terrorising Jessica throughout the film by placing traps and obstructing her way. When Jessica tries to flee, she is lost in the forest and cannot find any aid. She starts to fight back, outwitting The Man and utilising her survival abilities to protect herself. As Jessica struggles to flee and survive, the anxiety increases since The Man is following her everywhere. A frantic pursuit scene when Jessica battles for her life and tries to evade The Man serves as the movie's dramatic high point. Overall, "Alone" is a suspenseful psychological thriller that holds the viewer's attention from beginning to end. It is a tale of resiliency, survival, and the power of the human spirit.
