Story:-
Baahubali 2 picks up the plot where the original movie left off. Queen Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan), the mother of Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas), has proclaimed him the new ruler of Mahishmati. Amarendra's cousin Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati), however, is envious of his success and works with his father Bijjaladeva (Nasser) to topple him.
Unaware of Bhallaladeva's plans, Sivagami gives Amarendra the assignment to tour the realm in search of solutions to the difficulties facing the populace. He encounters Devasena (Anushka Shetty), a princess from the nearby Kuntala kingdom, while on his voyage and develops feelings for her. But when Bhallaladeva and Bijjaladeva find out about their relationship, they use it to accuse Amarendra of betraying the throne and set Sivagami against him. Amarendra is put to death by Sivagami, and Bhallaladeva succeeds him as ruler of Mahishmati. Meanwhile, Bhallaladeva captures Devasena and imprisons her while torturing her. Amarendra's devoted supporters, like Kattappa (Sathyaraj), remain devoted to him and promise to reinstate his rightful crown.
